Unlikely delights
Junior surprises me sometimes, actually make that most of the time, and she certainly surprised me the other day when given a choice of things to have for her dinner. The things you would expect a small child to like such as chips (she won’t even touch them), chocolate (she’s recently gone off it – surely that has to be some kind of sacrilege) and tomato ketchup she just isn’t interested in, she did however ask for a vegan omelette. Now that may sound an oxymoron and I must admit the concept took some getting used to but junior took to it straight away and wolfs them down without a whimper.

Very filling but not very photogenic
Maybe I should try some other unlikely foods on the small one.
As a vegan, especially a vegan on a small Greek island, when you need something sweet and chocolatey to eat you have to make it for yourself. So it was the other day when I made a chocolate cake and then covered it in chocolate icing. Okay so I had to wait for my sweet gratification but it was worth it in the end.
