Eh? We can be healthier everywhere if we purchase the right ingredients; and fruits/veggies in Greece are not cheaper. When I first did my price comparison in 2007 that showed prices were significantly higher in Greece (even in Athens), people accused me of fabricating my data and called me a liar. It took some time before it was accepted as truth and then my article was plagiarized by Greek media. We pay 9 percent tax on food, but I'm sure the higher prices on islands such as yours makes up the 3 percent difference. The comment I get is: “Oh, food is much healthier and cheaper there.” Eh?
