Winter sunshine

Junior and I like to visit the beach at least once a week during the winter time. She likes to go because of the sand and I like to go because it’s empty and quiet (until junior gets there that is). We’ve just got back from Limnonari where the sun was shining brightly.
When we went last week we were mugged by one of the beach cats for an empty packet of crisps so this time we went prepared!
Who needs expensive toys and television, give a child a sandy beach and watch them go…………
lovely … too true about toys and TV! this morning we made a boat out of a cardboard box. Much fun was had!
ah yes, the trusty cardboard box – junior’s always enjoyed playing with the packaging more than the toy
