Excitement and love

The title of this post is courtesy of the small child, who informs me that once her visitors have gone so will all the excitement and love! I tried to remind her that I could be quite exciting and I did love her but as I’m her mummy I don’t think I count! So her Aunty Lynn and family have gone back to Blighty and she now has a week’s wait until her Aunty Clare and cousins come to visit.
After all my moaning about how long the summer holidays were, and what I was going to do to retain the last vestiges of my sanity whilst still entertaining Junior, I find myself two months’ in and thinking that time has passed by quite quickly. This could all, of course, be explained by the hassle and stress we’ve been experiencing which seems to have abated somewhat since we made the decision to move.
In other news, here is a picture of the latest addition, Kitkat, who is a greedy little monster and growing quite steadily.

It’s now becoming the busiest time of the season here in Skopelos as was evident when I went into town to pick Sean up from the boat the other day and found the car park full and people aimlessly driving around looking for somewhere to stop. I eventually found a place but it really is becoming impossible to park during the day or night. Last summer I don’t think we used the car in the evenings as we could just walk into town but now we live further out we have no choice but to drive. Things are set to get worse as this weekend is the busiest of the season with the festival of Panagia today.
