Work it out

Well I should have been able to get back to my work last week as junior was scheduled to go back to school on Thursday but of course the ‘best laid plans of mice and men’. We took her at 10.00am with her little bag packed, planning to leave her for at least a couple of hours, only to find that it wasn’t actually starting back at school day, only the blessing of the school by the priest! So after 20 minutes’ of chanting and sprinkling of water it was all over and time to go back home! To say junior was disappointed would be a massive understatement. The next day school was open from 8.30am to 10.30am, needless to say we stayed in bed instead of getting junior all excited again for only 2 hours’ at school. So now we’re waiting for Monday but instead of junior going from 9.00am till 3.00pm, the school will apparently only be open until 12.00 because a new afternoon teacher hasn’t been appointed yet! Never mind they’ve only had 3 months’ to get this sorted. We heard from juniors previous afternoon teacher who has been posted onto another island about as far away from Skopelos as is physically possible. She managed to get there in time for the new school term so perhaps it is only Skopelos that is without a full complement of teaching staff! So it looks like work will have to wait a little longer.
Today has been spent assembling (or at least watching Sean assemble) my long yearned for multi-gym. Having not had a gym fix all the time we’ve been here has been difficult for me as I was previously a 2 or 3 times a week person (at the gym that is!). Here is a picture of the finished article, crowded into our bedroom.

I will now be able to get my daily fix and will in no time be amazing all and sundry with my six pack (in my dreams). Well if I can’t get any work done I may as well work out!
