Bagel meltdown
Well we made them (junior and I) although the task of actually mixing and kneading fell to me because once we’d opened the raisin packet I lost junior to a mini raisin feeding frenzy. She does like her fruit. They look like bagels, they have the consistency of bagels but I was too light with the sugar and cinnamon so they taste more like savoury raisin bagels. Sean didn’t seem to mind but there again he’ll eat anything so that’s probably not the best recommendation. Junior took a bite of one and after an initial exclamation of delight she spat it out into my hand! Everyone’s a critic.
Soya beans and soya flour are due to arrive from http://ebio.gr/ tomorrow according to the man at the post office so I’ll have to go and buy some almonds to make milk to tide us over. Junior doesn’t mind almond milk on her cereal but she’s not keen on just drinking it (neither am I come to that although Sean really likes it but as I said before he’ll eat anything). Give me soya any day!
