in our new home

Well, no beach pics this time as we’ve been too busy moving into our new place. It’s mainly sorted although Sean is having to build quite a few storage units to contain all our worldly goods. Junior is very impressed with her room because due to the lack of cupboards it looks like we’ve stuffed the whole of Toys R Us in there. After breakfast this morning she hurriedly got down from the table and, pointing to her room, said “I’m just going in there to play”. As we’ve been (make that, as I’ve been) dashing back and forth clearing everything up, junior has been positioned on the beanbag in her room emptying boxes all over her floor and declaring she’s too busy to talk to anyone.
The electricity went off again on Saturday evening but fortunately we’d had an early dinner in preparation and had the candles and torches at the ready. There were no power cuts on Sunday or Monday (national holiday) but we did have one this morning after I’d just turned the Mac on. Fortunately it didn’t last that long and we now have a generator in the office in preparation for further cuts tomorrow.
The view from our living room over the sea and the town is certainly better to look at than the television, which is fortunate as we don’t have one and have no intention of getting one either. Having not seen sight of a television since the middle of January, I have to say that I really don’t miss it and neither does junior apparently. Sean’s picture of the town by night taken from in front of our house can be seen below.
