Getting there..
Well we’re nearly there now – no, not in Skopelos, I mean we’ve nearly finished packing. Or should that read Helen has nearly finished packing! All of are belongings are being collected this Thursday and are being shipped over, the cats are going on the following Monday and are flying over and we’re slumming it by driving across Europe. Though some people (i.e. most) think we may be slightly deranged spending that long in a car with a 4 year old who never stops talking, we thought it would be an adventure (verging on a nightmare) but more importantly it would mean we would have more room to carry toys, books and the other things which are considered essential when you’re 4.
We’re hoping to crack on with learning the language once we’re unpacked because we don’t want our daughter embarrassing us with her ability to pick up Greek in minutes! She’s currently entertaining anyone who will listen with her ability to count to 10 in Greek and Spanish.
Well that’s it until we land on Skopelos and get the computer connected. Here’s to an uneventful journey!
